Maria Theresa Chandeliers
The Maria Theresa is one of the all time classic chandeliers and is so called as it was designed to commemorate the coronation of Maria Theresa to the Czech queen which took place on the 12th May 1743. It is characterised by a rigid frame curved into a variety of designs to which glass listels are attached. This is to create an illusion of a frame being constructed entirely of glass. These truly fine design pieces have passed the test of time and are adored today as much as they have been for centuries. Maria Theresa chandeliers can be found in many fine homes and grand buildings across the world which illustrates the longevity and beauty which is inherent in this design.
